Tord-Boyaux (Gut-Twister)
A multi-person tele-spit to swallow together.
An event as part of the Paris Ass Book Fair 2025.
Glassbox takes root in the concrete basements of the Palais de Tokyo with an almost television-like show that might resemble a morning talk show in the middle of the afternoon, or a cabaret without feathers or champagne. Somewhere between a funfair and a village faire, this burlesque and highly instructive event will be hosted by Mulov, the Youpron collective, and Café Marylène. As comforting as a regional the Regional news broadcast on harvest day, it will be a chance to escape the crowds of the fair to talk about asses, carrots, and salted butter. You’ll run into at least one minister, a rabbit, a clown, some eggs, and maybe even the dairyman’s ass.
Special guests: Babouchka Babouche, Florian Buffard, Masha Kils, Atelier Panthera.
Mulov is a sentimental robot specializing in writing as well as noise production. She is a graduate of the Royal Society of Arts. She now runs the sky and the stars and performs as an actor.
Café Marylène is a non-profit cultural café opened in 2023 by Lucie Baumann and Tony Regazzoni. Based in Plougasnou, in northern Finistère, this former rural bar is conceived as a deliberately inclusive space open to artistic, cultural, and festive practices. The café hosts artists and researchers in residence, contemporary art exhibitions, hands-on and discovery workshops, concerts, DJ sets, and more.
Youpron is an artistic, activist, feminist, anti-capitalist, and pro-sex platform for those who are interested in and questioning relationships to pornographic cultures, their links to capitalism and pop culture. It is a home for sex workers and their allies. Youpron is: a publishing house, a fanzine, a residency space, and an artist duo creating work that engages with the political questions raised by pornographic cultures. Youpron aims to address through wit and humor the real place of obscenity today.
