Solo exhibition by Myriam Jacob-Allard.

Myriam Jacob-Allard is an interdisciplinary artist from Quebec, working mainly in video, performance, bricolage and installation. Her practice focuses on popular culture, particularly Quebec country-western culture, which plays an important role in her maternal family. Drawing on testimonials and real-life stories, as well as iconography, songs and local myths, she reflects on matrilineal transmission, memory and forgetting.

Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, as well as at film festivals in Canada and abroad: Ann Arbor Film Festival, IFF Rotterdam, Festival des Cinémas Différents et Expérimentaux de Paris (Jury Prize), Dok Leipzig, Uppsala SFF, IFF Message to Man (Centaur Prize for Best Experimental Film), Tallinn Photomonth, and at recent exhibitions:

Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Glassbox Nord in Paris, Dazibao in Montreal, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Mains d'œuvres in Paris, La Biennale at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal. She holds a master's degree in visual and media arts from UQAM. Recipient of several awards and bursaries, she has received the Bourse Claudine et Stephen Bronfman en art contemporain (2015), the Studio du Québec à Paris bursary (2022) and the Studio du Québec à Berlin bursary (2025).

This exhibition is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and PRIM.
