________ Le Cinéma de la Nouvelle Lune – OUTDOOR screenings

❝ Glassbox invites the Cinéma de la Nouvelle Lune for two screenings.❞

→ The Cinéma de la Nouvelle Lune is a program initiated by artists and curators that offers night screenings, since summer 2013, in the garden of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Montmartre, France. The screenings feature artist videos and film extracts, mixing languages, formats and frames of the moving image.

In the continuity of the Cinéma de la Nouvelle Lune, SILVERSCREENS brings together artists’ films and documentary films.

For this screening at Glassbox, the interior spaces are searched, scorned, explored in their every nook and cranny.
Behind the door, under the eyelids, inside the words, the walls seem to be able to preserve intimate territories from the porous attacks of usury and wind and to precipitate alchemical reactions.
The films presented for the session unroll Ariadne’s thread not to get out but to penetrate further, to the cul-de-sac of our private lives.
