The project ‘Aos cuidados de Paris — A l’attention de São Paulo” is an exhibition format launched in 2013 by Ateliê Coletivo2E1 (Sao Paulo, Brazil), it is being realized this year with Glassbox (Paris, France). The two structures launched an open call for artists who wanted to participate in a cultural exchange, as well as two simultaneous exhibitions, in these two cities.

The project aims to promote exchange between two different cultures and, above all, to support artistic production carried out in collaboration and at a distance.

The ten selected artists, five in São Paulo and five in Paris, work in pairs – one in Paris and the other in São Paulo. 
Each project is therefore sent to its peer, who is responsible for welcoming, re-formulating or executing the other’s work. For the opening, the two exhibition spaces will be connected and by extension of each other.
